Maintaining corporate or brand awareness is vital if you want to help people remember you. Reason8’s Template Builder is so flexible that it can help you to recreate that all important look into your website.
These days, websites without background videos run the risk of appearing old-fashioned. Even dinosaurish,
There’s nothing wrong with dinosaurs, or with looking like one. Dinosaurs are cool. Unless they’re chasing you of course.
But our new background videos have landed, exploded and changed the game. They have wiped out the old standards for beautiful websites, and have replaced them with a new standard that will leave all other websites looking like fossils.
Luckily, both our existing clients and our new ones have access to this brilliant new feature we’ve introduced, and we’d like to share its benefits with you today.
A superhero is only super because he or she stands out amongst the crowd. If we were a planet of flying, teleporting, time-freezing super-strong aliens, then we wouldn’t think there was anything super about us. When it comes to using formatting methods such as bold, italics, capitals or centering, all of these little text-enhancing superheroes will only stand out if they are used sparingly, in the right place, and when absolutely necessary…
Reviews, testimonials, recommendations – we all seek reassurance in them. We might even skip past the good ones just to see if there are any bad ones.Other people are sources of information for us. They can tell us whether this product or service is actually any good or not. Reading their testimonials builds trust in your business.

Is it possible for your business website to look too good? Too polished? Too slick? Too posh?

When July 2018 hits, Google Chrome will make sure a strong warning will pop up on any website that has not yet updated from “http” to “https”. The warning will include something along the lines of “Website Not Secure”. Here’s how to avoid it.
Should you need help with any step of creating your new header and website design, click here to check out a series of tutorials created to help you get the very best out of Template Designer.
If you’re starting from scratch with a new trial, simply choose your preferred starter template from all the categories and choices available and click personalise. If you’ve already started designing your website and header background, login to your website, click step 2 and click the header to access the template builder facility.
We’re going to look at designing your website header and background from scratch today, so allowing you to incorporate all your own colours and images. So let’s start by clicking the Design tab at the top of the Template Builder and clicking the tab – “Design your own Template”.
Click the header tab. Here you can select just one colour for your header or you can have one colour fading into another.
To select just one colour, click in the colour box in Step 1 and choose your colour from the spectrum, then click ok.
In Step 2, Style, choose Simple Fill.
In step 3 you can choose to have the corners of your header straight or rounded using the sliders.
If your business identity has two colours, select the first colour as above and then click the “Outside” tab on the left and in Step 1, select your second colour from the spectrum, then click ok.
Now go back to the Header section by clicking the “Header” tab on the left.
In Step 2 – Style, you can now choose how you want the two colours to fade into each other. From Left to Right, Right to Left, Top to Bottom or from Bottom to Top.
As soon as you select one of these options you will see your second colour appear within the colour fade scheme.
You can use the slider at the bottom of Step 2 to determine the depth of the fade of your second colour.
Rather than using a solid or faded colour, you could choose a pattern to play the part of your second colour and to run around the outside of your website design. There are lots to choose from so you should be able to find something ideally suited to your business both in colour and relevance.
If you find a pattern that you love and the colours are right for your business image, you can even select one of the colours from your pattern as the primary colour on your header section. After selecting your pattern in the “Outside” tab, click the “Header” tab again and click the colour box in Step 1 and then using your mouse, move your cursor onto the pattern. You will see the cursor changes to the colour picker icon, which means you can now click anywhere on the pattern and select one of its colours. You can see the colour changing in the “New Colour” box to the right of the spectrum as you move your mouse around. Simply left click when you’ve found the perfect complimentary colour. In Step 2, you can either select simple fill or you can choose a fade option combining both your primary colour and your pattern.
