You can make specific layout changes on a group by group basis if required, but any plugins inserted will follow the style dictated in this section.
Use this dropdown to decide how many columns you allow in each group, which will be dictated by how many items are in your group.
This editing option is also available when you go inside a particular group and view its items.
Use this dropdown to choose exactly how items will be ordered in your group - this could be according to alphabetical order, how recently items were added, or by price.

Use this box to type in a limit for how many items can be presented in a group.
However, be careful about excluding important items. Remember that the items you add manually always rank higher in priority than items added into the group using automated rules.
Choose whether these style settings apply to all groups or only groups not included in categories.
You may have a certain style devised for groups inside categories. Selecting All Groups will mean that the layout determined in this Group Layout section overrides any previously created settings for these groups.

If you select Yes on this option here, the system dynamically changes the shape of the thumbnail image to match your image shape, which would be useful if you had images of different shapes (some portrait, some landscape) and needed the whole of the image to be visible and not trimmed in any way.
But be wary that having theYes option switched on can make the overall styling look uneven and unprofessional. Choosing No will centre the image and always fill the shape.
