Discount voucher codes can help to grow your website - but only if you get the message out to customers in the form of a pop-up. Learning how to create a pop-up, therefore, is a crucial element of owning an ecommerce website. Stylish, enticing pop-ups containing your discount code are a fantastic way of encouraging new visitors to click through the home page and view your items. And having read this article, you will know how to create highly personalised pop-ups and put them anywhere on your ecommerce website.

Open the editor, click Content, and select the Page pop-up option.
Pop-ups are not essays. You want to ensure that the pop-up has the best possible chance of grabbing somebody's attention.
The best pop-ups have a clear, short, punchy title and a brief message that rouses the reader to action.
You want your discount voucher code to stand out in the page. One sure-fire way of doing this is through highlighting the text and clicking the dropdown option titled Normal.
You will be presented with a list of different font sizes. Select either the first or second-biggest Heading title to increase the size of the font for the discount voucher code.
Another way of bringing your discount voucher code to life is through once again highlighting the text and switching from Align Left to Centre at the top of the page, which quite literally makes your discount voucher code the centrepiece of the pop-up.
This Pause option is turned off by default, but if you want to send your pop-up live at a later date, select "Yes" on this option.
Choose the message that presents itself in the button on the bottom-right that people will click to close the pop-up.
You could change it to something like "No thanks!" or "Maybe later!" as a way of adding further personalisation to the pop-up.
In the Applies to section, you can select the exact page where you want this pop-up to present itself.
Generally, ecommerce website owners will want pop-ups on the home page, as this is where new visitors are directed.
Please remember that only one popup can be displayed in a single webpage.
If you have created two or more popups to be shown in the same webpage, the one that appears first in the table (at the top) is the one that is shown on the page (unless it is paused, then it is disabled).
You can decide whether the pop-up presents itself immediately, or after a delay of several seconds.
Users are advised to NOT choose the Immediately option, as visitors are prone to click away at any instant pop-ups when they land on a new website.
After a delay of five seconds, however, the customer is already engaged with your website and its design, and becomes less likely to click away from the pop-up.
Along with the styling tools available in the pop-up editor, you can use the Style dropdown option at the bottom to use one of the colour templates as a basis for your pop-up's style.
Remember to ensure that your pop-up's style reflects the wider style of your website, otherwise it will look clunky and out of place.
Your pop-up has now been created and will emerge - in this case - five seconds after customers land on the home page.
Be sure to also use email campaigns, social media and Tidio as a means of sharing this discount code with as many customers as possible.
