Bing - a new service or just a new set of clothes ?

 Successfully representing "the moment of discovery and decision making” With so many search engines vying for supremacy on the net, you will no doubt have come across Bing, the new search engine from Microsoft, formerly known as and replacing, Live Search, Windows Live Search or MSN Search. Bing was introduced to the Internet community on 28th May 2009 at the All Things Digital conference in San Diego and went live on 3rd June 2009. As expected with this new member of such a well know family, Bing was successful in gaining a good share of the market within its first few weeks.


Firefox 3.5 Unleashed

While Microsoft Internet Explorer still sits in pole position as lead browser, we’re all enjoying a choice of alternatives, all vying for a podium finish with the continuous development of great new functions and features. One such development is the new 3.5 version of Firefox from Mozilla. The new version, being described as a "major update, is said to boast a significant increase in performance over previous versions and offers new features including; upgraded Web technology, geolocation, privacy tools, and open video viewing. Apparently, it's more than twice the speed of Firefox 3 and ten times faster than version 2. An impressive claim, well worth testing!
