Google has recently revealed a whole new set of exiting features on its main search page. Internet users can now search under various categories to help them find what they need quickly and easily. Businesses are well advised to keep their websites regularly updated in order to take advantage of Google’s new features. As a Reason8 Website Builder, you have all the tools you need to easily keep your site updated. With your live update editor built into your site, you can take full advantage of the New Google!
The new update offers users with the ability to filter their search results into separate categories such as "blogs", "news" and even "books". The new options appear on the left hand side of the Google Search screen. Local search options are also provided once you have allowed Google to access your location. Users can also find the "latest" results in what Google are calling a real-time search. People can also enjoy the new "smart search options". Searches will be cleverly presented based on the search terms or keywords used by the internet user. i.e., if a user searches for a product such as "dresses", the "shopping results" icon will appear higher than other options. Clever eh?!
Google wanted to add more detail to their site, along with a "modern" feel but wanted to hold on to the trademark simplistic design and they’ve achieved just that. Google say – “The new design refreshes and streamlines the look, feel and functionality of Google, making it easier to find what you're looking for. It's powerful, yet simple. Today's changes are the latest in our continuing efforts to evolve and improve Google." Google have been testing the new updates with users for a few months and launched with confidence based on the feedback received. These latest changes also open up endless possibilities for future features and further improvements.
The new results mean that companies will need to continually update their sites with detail and keywords to ensure their pages remain relevant. As internet users create more specific search terms, businesses really need to update their sites in order to appear in as many "filters" or searches as possible. Keywords must be thorough and include your local area’s and locations too. This also includes blogs and forums and so on. Click to view the tutorial on Blogs.
So if you haven’t updated your primary pages recently, set a little time aside to get onto your editor and update your information. Your editor makes it incredibly easy for you to do this and if you want to stay ahead of the game it’s going to be well worth an hour or two of your time. The beauty of your editor system is that it’s instant. All the changes you make are LIVE as soon as you click SAVE button.

These days, websites without background videos run the risk of appearing old-fashioned. Even dinosaurish,
There’s nothing wrong with dinosaurs, or with looking like one. Dinosaurs are cool. Unless they’re chasing you of course.
But our new background videos have landed, exploded and changed the game. They have wiped out the old standards for beautiful websites, and have replaced them with a new standard that will leave all other websites looking like fossils.
Luckily, both our existing clients and our new ones have access to this brilliant new feature we’ve introduced, and we’d like to share its benefits with you today.
A superhero is only super because he or she stands out amongst the crowd. If we were a planet of flying, teleporting, time-freezing super-strong aliens, then we wouldn’t think there was anything super about us. When it comes to using formatting methods such as bold, italics, capitals or centering, all of these little text-enhancing superheroes will only stand out if they are used sparingly, in the right place, and when absolutely necessary…
Reviews, testimonials, recommendations – we all seek reassurance in them. We might even skip past the good ones just to see if there are any bad ones.Other people are sources of information for us. They can tell us whether this product or service is actually any good or not. Reading their testimonials builds trust in your business.
